Pre-K3: A Great Place To Start!
NCCA’s Three Year Old Pre-K classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, either in the morning or afternoon. Times are 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 – 3:00 p.m.
Essentials Preschool curriculum, a Bible-based curriculum, is used. Thematic units are taught throughout the year, where pre-reading, phonics, math, science, art, music, movement and drama are integrated. Hands-on activities develop your child’s skills in:
- Listening
- Letter recognition
- Number recognition
- Counting
- Beginning sounds
- Sorting
- Classifying
- Problem solving
- Language development
- Fine/large motor development
In addition to Bible memory, daily Bible stories and their application to young lives are incorporated into instruction through learning centers, crafts, and activities.
Parents can add their child to the fall class list beginning on January 3 of each year. Students entering the program must turn 3 by September 1 and must be potty trained.
